This is my brothers rabbit that I am taking care of for week while my brother is in Spain on vacation. His name is Momo and he is a piece of shit.
Today he declared war against me and to be honest he is a very crafty enemy, and it is quite a task to fight him.
The battlefield is our dining room where I let him loose every morning to exercise him, and his goal is to enter the forbidden territory behind the cabinet where we keep all our cables. His mission is to chew in the cables and that might be a suicide mission since he will be roasted if he chews too deep. My job is to keep him away from the cabinet. The only entrance is a small hole on the side of the cabinet where he can squeeze through with ease, so all morning I’ve been placing various objects in front of the hole to keep him out, but without success. He just knocks over the objects and or pushes them away. So my solution was, everytime he comes near the cabinet to lay down on the floor and keep my hand on the object in front of the hole so he couldn’t remove it.
His reply to that move was, as I lay there on the floor holding on to the object in front of the hole, to jump on to my back and sit there as on the throne of his defeated enemies celebrating victory. He sat there for a while, taunting me about the fact he was sitting on me and there was nothing I could do about it since if I moved he would fall of me and hurt himself. When he finally jumped down he retreated to his own territory as seen on the picture above and left me alone to cope with the fact he had outsmarted me.
And that’s the story of how I spent my morning being defeated by Momo The Rabbit, a true piece of shit.

Biography: Wavves is a band from San Diego, California, and the brainchild of frontman Nathan Williams. Initially formed in 2008 as a solo recording project, Williams began releasing a series of cassettes that garnered considerable attention that led up to his first two major albums - Wavves and Wavvves, released in 2008 and 2009, respectively. After the success of the two albums, Williams enlisted drummer Ryan Ulsh to help him tour and they began playing around the country and in Europe together. In 2009, Williams had a massive breakdown at a festival gig in Spain that caused him to admit that he was addicted to alcohol, leading them to cancel the remainder of their European tour dates and also saw Ulsh quitting the band. Ulsh would be temporarily replaced by drummer Zach Hill (formerly of Hella and presently of Death Grips); however, Williams found two new permanent band members, both of whom were members of the late Jay Reatard’s band: drummer Billy Hayes and bassist Stephen Pope. The three recorded Wavves’s third studio album, King of the Beach, which was released in 2010. The album was very well received critically, but shortly after its release Hayes quit the band. King of the Beach was followed up by the release of an EP, Life Sux, in 2011. The EP featured members of Best Coast and Fucked Up. In 2013, Wavves released their fourth album, Afraid of Heights. Williams and Pope are still touring together.

I just want to give my two cents on this and tell you a story.

A couple weeks ago, I was hired at Target. I have a job at Target. Not a big deal right?

It is a big deal because i’m a transman.

It doesn’t take a genius to conclude that it’s hard for me, my brothers, and sisters to get a job. There are legal restraints regarding the job and if you don’t pass, it’s hard to be taken seriously at a job interview.

Right on the application, it asks what your preferred name is. It also asks if there is anything that target should know. I put the fact that I am a transman, expecting not to get a call because usually when you put that down, people will throw out the application. I got TWO interviews.

At the interview, they asked me about it. I told them I am on hormones and they told me that they didn’t care. Not in the sense that they don’t emotionally care, but that it didn’t matter. I was male and that’s all that mattered. They also told me that they give sex same couples benefits in states that do not recognize them as a married couple.

At my job orientation, I was not misgendered once. Even my supervisors who weren’t sure of my gender avoided pronoun use, which I found only happens when you’ve had pronoun training. They gave me a name tag with my preferred name and didn’t ask questions. I felt safe and respected, which is huge for a trans* person.

TLDR: Target is amazing not just for the LGB, but also the T. Shop there for the rest of your life.

I am pretty happy with them as a company in a lot of ways, this is another of them.
